Robert Wilson Sea Lion Legacy Society

Robert (Bob) Wilson was a lifelong advocate for the ocean and wildlife. He was a champion of marine mammals, elephants, snow leopards, tigers, and polar bears.

For more than 30 years, he gave his time, resources, knowledge, and heart to help Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary, Greater Farallones Association, and the Beach Watch program thrive. At various times Bob served as GFA Executive Director, GFA Board President, Sanctuary Advisory Council member, and Beach Watch volunteer; was named Sanctuaries Volunteer of the Year; and above all, always a treasured friend to staff and colleagues.

It is with gratitude for his dedication and contributions, the Board has formed the Robert Wilson Sea Lion Legacy Society.

By joining Robert Wilson and others in naming the Greater Farallones Association as a beneficiary of a planned gift or permanent endowment, you can honor Bob’s memory while helping to protect the Sanctuary and wildlife he held dear. You will also provide tax or other financial benefits for yourself and your loved ones.

For more information on how to include the Greater Farallones in your planned giving – and to notify us through a letter of intent – please see How It Works: Greater Farallones Legacy Society.
