Carmen Lavilla

Carmen Lavilla holds a B.A. in Humanities and Communications and brings experience from her work with Tree Frog Treks, where she led hands-on environmental science programs focused on sustainability, local ecology, and environmental stewardship. Carmen is passionate about making marine science accessible and engaging for diverse communities and hopes to continue developing inclusive educational opportunities that inspire care for our oceans. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at a community farm, backpacking, and making crafts.
