Postdoctoral Researcher - Coastal Resilience

Maria is currently a postdoctoral researcher, responsible for the geological modeling portion of the NOAA National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science-funded project to advance nature-based solutions to address climate impacts to shoreline habitat in the Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary. She recently completed her Ph.D. in Coastal Engineering at UCLA where her research focused on observing and modeling dunes and living shorelines in Southern California.
