Michelle Veloso

Michelle Veloso is the Aviation Partnerships Specialist for Seabird Protection Network. She leads outreach events within the aviation community to reduce aircraft related seabird disturbances, while strengthening collaboration between pilots and conservation efforts. She earned a BS in Genetics and Microbiology from Iowa State University and is a certified single and multi engine commercial pilot with an instrument rating. With nearly seven years of flying experience in Northern California, she now instructs out of the Oakland airport.
