Calling All Middle & High School Teachers: Join us for a LiMPETS Sandy Beach Monitoring Workshop!

Join us on March 28th, 9am – 3pm, at the Sanctuary Visitor Center in the Presidio, San Francisco, for a professional-development workshop for teachers who want to engage their students in authentic scientific research along their local coastline. You will receive:

  • A 5-unit curriculum aligned with NGSS and Common Core
  • Hands-on training for mole crab monitoring techniques and protocol
  • Tools and staffing support for facilitating student community science
  • A $50 stipend

Educators who would like to have their students participate in LiMPETS programming are required to attend a Teacher Training Workshop, and this training is encouraged every five years to participate in the LiMPETS sandy beach field trips. .
