The Greater Farallones Association conserves the wildlife and habitats of the Greater Farallones, Cordell Bank, and northern Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuaries through foundational science, immersive education, and innovative restoration. These protected waters are among the most biodiverse marine ecosystems on Earth, yet they face growing threats from climate change, pollution, and other impacts. Each year, we collect vital scientific data on globally significant species, connect with tens of thousands of adults and youth in ocean stewardship, and restore critical marine species and habitats through nature-based solutions — because protecting our ocean is essential to the health of our planet and future generations.
