On April 29, our Beach Watch naturalists partnered with Monterey Bay Whale Watch to lead a fundraising adventure out to sea. We saw Risso’s and Pacific white-sided dolphins, numerous seabirds including black-footed albatross, and “friendly” humpback whales who remained near our boat repeatedly surfacing—seemingly as curious as us! Begging the question, who’s watching who?
