Since its start in 2002, LiMPETS (Long-term Monitoring Program and Experiential Training for Students) has empowered more than 45,000 young people in the Bay Area to collect critical data on coastal health. It’s real science, contributing to marine protected area management, peer-reviewed scientific journals, and numerous reports.
But now, LiMPETS is at risk. We do not have adequate funding to support the program. A longtime foundation partner has shifted its priorities, leaving a critical gap that jeopardizes the future of this transformative work. Please help us save this beloved program.
