The Greater Farallones Visitor Center offers hands-on, lively programs on many marine topics. All programs are aligned with and fulfill Next Generation Science Standards, California state science education standards, and NOAA Ocean and Climate Literacy Principles. These highly interactive programs are 90 minutes long and include outdoor activities in the marine environment adjacent to Crissy Field, hands-on lab activities in our Pier Classroom, and indoor explorations of the Visitor Center’s marine life and ecosystem exhibits.
