July 8th – August 2nd, 2024

Ahoy! The popular Marine Explorers Summer Camp is back! We are offering 7-hour per day M-F camps for 9-11-year-olds that are curious about the ocean. The camps will engage your child in marine science learning during their summer. Our focus for these camps will be Marine Ecosystem Science; our intrepid campers will explore the diversity of our local ecosystems and real techniques for how scientists study marine organisms.

Registration opens March 16, 2024 at 10am through our partners at the Randall Museum and SF Recreation and Parks. A waitlist will be available when all spots are filled.

Explore the ocean with our marine scientists. Learn about the animals and ecosystems found within Greater Farallones and Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuaries right here on the shores of San Francisco. Dive into ocean-themed games, art, and experiments. View live plankton, crabs, and fish. Enjoy interactive dissections and build your very own ROV and drive it off our pier. We will also embark on field excursions including a kayaking adventure through Half Moon Bay Harbor!

Camp is held 9am-4pm daily. The drop off and pickup location is on Crissy Field at The Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary Visitor Center, 991 Marine Drive, The Presidio, San Francisco, CA 94129.

We offer Summer Camp, plus Mini Spring and Fall Camps!
