Data collected through our Beach Watch community volunteers helped contribute to a recent publication on bottlenose dolphin range expansion. The study, published in the Aquatic Mammals Journal, used photo identification to discover that dolphins were achieving long-range movements from the Southern California Bight to the San Francisco Bay Area.
